A character-driven gothic fantasy campaign told through diaries, recovered artifacts, fragmented testimony, and accounts carried out of the mists.
[GRAPHIC: banner]
A wide dark-gothic banner, ideally 1920×600 or similar. It should show Barovian mist, ravens, a distant castle silhouette, old trees, or a parchment/dossier-style background. Avoid making it too busy because text may sit near it.
Overview
Raven Lost and Found follows a party of lost souls drawn into a land of mist, hunger, memory, and old bargains. The campaign is based on Curse of Strahd Reloaded, with significant homebrew additions, character-focused arcs, and original developments created for this table.
This page collects the campaign’s major session stories, character records, unresolved mysteries, important NPCs, and artifacts discovered along the way.
[GRAPHIC: Overview background texture]
A subtle parchment, mist, raven-feather, or dark stone texture. This should be low contrast and used only as a background or separator, not as a major feature image.

Wulvers have an uncanny ability to adapt to whatever surroundings they live in, whether it be the bustling urban sprawl of a city, the hostile northern tundras, or deep wooded forests. The fur, color, and build of any given wulver will often hint at the niche they were born to fill, making them one of the most diverse races in the known world alongside humans. It is highly unlikely to find two Wulvers who look exactly the same.
They are commonly seen in multiple roles among society that mirror that of a loyal canine. A royal guard who pledges fealty to his king. The watchful shepherd who guides his flock. The caretaker who nurtures and protects their master for life. The wulver sense of loyalty and duty runs deep within their bones.
Having said that, not much is known about Argoshi as his absense away from his home land and pack, didn’t go un-noticed. The pup that once left has returned, tall, wise, strong and protective….
“Yawn, what a derivative back story. Did Argoshi write this? He’s wise but not creative, I’ll tell you that much. Tell them about the time you punched all the blood out of that enemy scout. Or that time you were invited to afternoon tea with Shemeshka, how you managed that I still REALLY want to know. Or how you reseated my shoulder after Miia bound me in … “
Narrator: Lirrun’s editing notes do continue. Typical Bard, main character syndrome if I’ve ever seen it, but his heart is in the right place, as he quickly edits the notice
Argoshi now finds himself on a new quest; one of enlightenment and growth, a charge given to him by his master, that before his final lesson he must come back with a memoir of sacrifice, and a fraction of regrowth.
“That’s better!! Now he’s manifesting destiny. I’ll post this back to him, and say he should put this on a job board. Hopefully a band of adventurer’s call out to his services. He could certainly use some time out of that studio. You too narrator, stop listening in on my fate weaving.”
Narrator: … now how did he do that? Maybe I should elaborate a bit more on Argoshi while Lirrun is concerned with the game state
Argoshi knew his parents, a loving and caring mother and father. While not spoken of widely his mother was a hybrid born from the union of a Wulver and a Yuan-Ti, yet she nor Argoshi carry any of the physical appearances of a Yuan-Ti. His start to life was somewhat unconventional as he was born in a cave due to some unfortunate timing of his parents stopping by there on the way back from visiting family members. He was an only child with their family living a modest lifestyle; a father and mother that ran a small sake brewery in a large city, which afforded his parents a large enough house for them and some of their staff, mostly other Wulvers. Argoshi had a few close friends and lived an ordinary childhood, though at times he felt that a special sort of power lay within him, so when the time was right he sought out those who could help him call it forth and master it. That feeling became particularly strong when one day while exploring the neighbouring woodlands he had his first supernatural experience, a ghoul feeding on a corpse of another member of the village where Argoshi lived. Overcome with both fear and rage, a desire sparked to stop the ghoul and Argoshi attacked. Miraculously he survived, though not without injury.
Lying on the ground in the forrest, exhausted from the ordeal of combat with the ghoul, Argoshi was found by a Yuan-Ti monk. The motivations of that individual are still discussed within Argoshi’s circle of friends and family, but strong speculation is that part of the reason Argoshi was helped that day was because of his blood carry some ancestory of the Yuan-Ti. This monk, a black scaled, red bellied and cobra hooded Yuan-Ti called Galibaay became Argoshi’s sensei, training him on his path of enlightenment and in the discipline of being a monk. This didn’t start seemlessly at first, the monastery where Argoshi began his training was initially secluded in the mountains well away from civilisation, though over the centuries of it standing civilisation grew ever closer to it to the extent it bacame the backdrop for a city sprawling before it. As Argoshi recovered from his wounds, the sight of a city seemlessly endlessly disappearing over the horizon before him, the cosmic tapestry of the night sky that he could now see so much clearer than he could when he was at home, the the haunting images from his experiences in combat left his seeking instruction to gain a deeper understanding of existence and my place in the world.
As Argoshi’s skills developed and his responsibilities grew at the monastery, extending to establishing some sake brewing at the monastery from what he had learnt from his family he was given the task of looking after visitors which on one particular visit he met the members of a band called cRush, where his friendship with Lirrun would start. It was not uncommon for the monks of this monastery to host visitors seeking enlightenment or councilling, and Argoshi found his hands full keeping tabs on Lirrun, who while attentive during seminars, would frequently exercise his free will when not tied down. While Argoshi was initially very skeptical of Lirrun’s desire to benefit from the retreat from their touring duties, it was one evening at the monasteries cantina that they began conversations more casually that this wulver began to see more in this kitsune. It’s unclear how it came about but between Lirrun and Argoshi a wager was struck, and from all accounts Lirrun appeared to be the victor as when cRush came to the end of their stay Argoshi left with them. While something of a shock for the other members of the monastery, Galibaay was all smiles and couldn’t be happier to see how far Argoshi had grown.
Argoshi seemingly assumed something of a roadie or bouncer roll for Lirrun and the other members of cRush helping out with gigs and keeping crowds under control, but at the same time it was more then that as Argoshi was also in something of a mentor and support role, being there and offering council when it was needed. On one particular tour, cRush was touring through Planescape on their way to the interdimensional city of Sigil which was not strictly advised by their tour manager but Lirrun thought the reward outweighed the risk. The group had their hands full between the various groups of Yugoloths and pursuant raiders, on one particular instance Argoshi utilising his monk speed was able to catch an enemy scout and landed a punch so vicious that all the blood of the fiend left it’s body.
This is his story.
